    Dorine obtained her RIBO license on June 26th 1998 but has been in the Insurance Industry since 1985. She worked at Sturgeon Falls Insurance for 5 years where she acquired some insurance background and improved on her secretarial skills. She went on to join the Rivet Insurance team in 1993. Before her beginnings in the insurance industry, Dorine worked for the Ministry of Natural Resources.

    Since joining Rivet Insurance Dorine has climbed the ladder from receptionist, to broker, to her current position as Administrative Assistant. Her work mostly revolves around support e-mails and keeping the software system running smoothly. Dorine is the one that we rely on when anything is amiss with the software system.

    Dorine likes being part of the Rivet team because it’s a great group of people to work with. Every day is a new challenge and opportunity to acquire more skills and knowledge. She feels that the most rewarding part of providing clients with insurance services is making the clients smile by talking with them and giving them the service they deserve.

    Her proudest accomplishment outside of her career is her son Zacharia who will be graduating high school this year and moving on to college. When she is not hard at work in the office, her hobbies include walking, kayaking, biking and curling with her friends. Her home life consists of enjoying the outdoors and taking care of her property with planting trees and flowers.
